Hello, I'm a 25-year old hairdresser student from Finland, and as you may notice from my occupation I'm a female.
About other games I'd say I've played pretty much everything from the first PS 1 games to D3 and Skyrim, although WoW has always been my passion number 1.
A warlock has been my main since the first week I started playing (which was somewhere about a month after WOTLK was released), and I've never looked back ever since. I've tried all specs depending on how they were balanced at the time or whether I wanted to PVP or PVE, but tbh destro has always been my favourite, I love big crits.
My proffessions on my main are enchanting and tailoring, mostly because I tend to spend my gold faster than I can make more, and tailoring is a good way to make profit via leg enchants and enchanting, well, disenchanting.
My total /played on my main is 157 days, 2 hrs, armory link here: eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/stormscale/Edny/simple
My raid exp in general started with ICC, and after that I've always cleared the current content on normal mode usually with a guild. I was in a finnish guild for a long time and we cleared the content usually with 80% the same group over the years.
I had a daughter 2 years ago so that limited my gaming alot, but nowadays as she's bigger the schedules are alot easier to work around with her father.
In MoP I first dwelled in Angered Zenedar as a social, and soon migrated to Silvermoon where I rejoined the finnish guild, and we cleared MSV and HoF on normal pretty soon. The end bosses of HoF and ToES were something I did on alt raids etc, as I couldn't be a part of a raid team back then.
ToT normal we cleared pretty fast on 25-mode, but when our GM decided to go for 2 10-man HC teams, it didn't really end well.
Recently I decided to leave my old guild and migrate to Stormscale with a couple of friends, and after a month of soulsearching have finally come to the conclusion I really want to start raiding again. All of my SoO progress atm has been through pugging so my knowledgement of the finer details of the fights are a bit blurry. I'm a quick learner though and a teamplayer by heart. I'm also veeeeery used to people making fun of eachother and ofcourse of me also, and I don't exactly find myself comfortable with uptight people. When progress raiding things may get very heated but I believe every mistake is something you learn something about, whether if it's pointed out by lauhging or yelling. (Ofc I prefer the first but eh..)
Concidering alts, I have 2 lvl 90 paladins, a druid and a warrior. also lvl 80 priest, lvl 87 monk and a lvl 86 rogue. I usually always tank when leveling and tanking is something I really enjoy doing with my alts, but I have veeeeery little experience of it from raids. Healing is something I've never really enjoyed doing and probably never will.
I've used every voice communication program and got them all installed on my PC, which is totally capable of handling 25-man raids and I very rarely experience any lag. (Only when forgetting to turn ff downloads or someone else using my connection etc.)
The main reason I'm applying is that I want to experience this content fresh handed, not after the next expansion and most certainly not by being carried to get a title. I want to kill the bosses the first time with a group of people who have worked as hard on it as I have and share the enthusiasm and all the pros and cons of raiding, whether it's normal or heroic. For me the game is about bettering yourself and constantly striving to be the best you absolutely can, within the limits you you have. (Work, school, kids etc.)
I'm probably not the most experienced raider but I'm always willing to put extra effort upon learning from my mistakes and trying to squeeze out everything I possibly can.
Thanks for reading all of this, I'll be online every day on either my main Edny or my alt Ednypie who I veeeery slowly try to level and also treat as my bank alt
Merry christmas!
